Contact form enquiries
When you use our enquiry form, we collect your name, email address, subject and message to respond to you. Submissions are processed and stored by Netlify and are accessible to authorised BAA account users. Please do not submit payment card details or sensitive personal information. You can contact info@britishazerbaijani.org about your enquiry or personal data.

British Azerbaijani Association is responsible for the information it handles for its own enquiries and community activities. For privacy questions or requests, email info@britishazerbaijani.org.
When you browse
With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand page visits, device/browser information and website interactions. Google processes analytics information for this service and may process it outside the UK. Advertising features are disabled. You can withdraw consent using Cookie settings in the footer. See Google’s privacy policy and our cookie information. We do not send enquiry form contents to Analytics. The public website does not include advertising pixels or social media embeds. Its hosting provider, Netlify, processes connection information such as IP addresses and request details to deliver and protect the website. See Netlify’s privacy policy.
When you contact BAA
If you email us, we receive your email address, the contents of your message and any information you choose to include. We use these to respond and handle the enquiry. Please share only what is needed; avoid sending sensitive documents with an initial message.
The applicable basis depends on the enquiry: responding to a request can involve our legitimate interests in communicating with the community, or steps necessary for an event booking or other arrangement. Where consent is needed for a separate use, it should be requested for that purpose. Sending an enquiry does not sign you up to a marketing list.
Information should be retained only for the enquiry, relevant arrangements and any necessary record-keeping. Contact us about the retention period for your particular record.
Event payments and external services
Event payments take place on PayPal, not through a card form on this website. PayPal handles payment information under its own terms and privacy policy. Booking information, including attendee names requested at checkout, is used by BAA to manage the booking. Please provide names only for the people covered by your purchase.
Instagram, Facebook and other linked websites have their own privacy practices. They are not loaded as embedded feeds on this site. Providers may process information outside the UK; consult their privacy information for details.
Your choices and rights
You can ask BAA about access, correction or deletion of personal information, and about objection, restriction or portability where applicable. Some records may need to be kept to meet legal obligations. You may also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
