Community life
A familiar face at an event or a conversation after a football match can be the start of a friendship. Our community gatherings create opportunities for Azerbaijanis in Britain, their families and friends to meet and stay connected.
People join us with different experiences: some have recently arrived in the UK, while others have lived here for many years or grown up here. There is no single way to belong.
Culture and heritage
Our cultural work gives music, food, language and family traditions a place in British community life. We organise celebrations and share introductions to Azerbaijan for people who want to learn more.
Discover Azerbaijan offers a starting point, with sources that let readers explore beyond our own website.
Sport, events and volunteering
Football, social occasions and cultural events are part of BAA’s community activity. Volunteers can contribute time, practical help or professional skills. Rather than advertise roles we have not arranged, we invite you to tell us what you would like to offer.
